Where any shortfall in filling up of seats from NRI occurs, such vacant seats may be filled up from the merit list of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE(MAIN)-2013, erstwhile AIEEE) or All India Medical Entrance Examination (NEET-UG, 2013, erstwhile AIPMT), as the case may be, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education; Provided that while filling up such vacant seats NRI shall be preferred. In a private professional educational institution 15% of the approved in take may be filled up strictly from the merit list of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE(MAIN)-2013, erstwhile AIEEE) or All India Medical Entrance Examination (NEET-UG 2013, erstwhile AIPMT), as the case may be, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education.
