चलनाद्वारे शुल्क भरल्यानंतर प्राप्त झालेला Transaction ID पुन्हा Login करुन नोंदणी न केल्यास अर्ज नाकारला जाईल.अर्ज भरण्याच्या अंतिम दिनांकास होणारी गर्दी व उदभवणार्या अडचणी टाळण्यासाठी उमेदवारांनी तात्काळ अर्ज सादर करावेत. अर्ज भरण्याच्या अंतिम दिनांकानंतर नेटवर्कबाबत अथवा यासंदर्भात प्राप्त होणार्या इतर कोणत्याही प्रकारच्या तक्रारीची दखल घेतली जाणार नाही.
Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) servers crashed because of a virus on Tuesday afternoon, just five days before the preliminary exam conducted by the commission. More than 3.5 lakh students, who had registered for the April 7 exam, have been told register all over again.
"All the candidates who have applied for the State Services Preliminary Examination 2013 to be held on 7th April,2013 are hereby requested to update (refill) their profile details (such as Photo,Signature etc.) by 17.00 hrs on Thursday 4th April,2013 onwww.mpsconline.gov.in without which, the Admission Certificates shall not be issued. The Admission Certificates shall be issued on the next day of the profile updation."
A notification issued by the MPSC secretary stated: "All candidates who have applied for the State Services Preliminary Examination 2013 to be held on April 7 are hereby requested to update (refill) their profile details (such as photo, signature) by 1700 hrs on Thursday, April 4, on www.mpsconline.gov.in without which the admission certificates (hall ticket) shall not be issued. The admission certificates shall be issued on the next day of the profile updation."
The MPSC office in Mumbai received panic calls soon after news of the notification spread among aspirants. MPSC chairman Sudhir Thakre told TOI, "It is a technical error and viruses had attacked the system which led to the crash. The anti-virus software failed to detect this virus. We cannot do much about it."
Meanwhile, several students in the rural parts of the state faced greater problems while re-registering for the exam due to inadequate internet connectivity and power cuts. Many students were unaware of the notice issued by the MPSC on its website while those who were aware rushed to the nearest internet cafe to fill up their application forms.
Its mandate includes advertising for jobs, conducting competitive examinations for the same, declaring results and conducting personal interviews of successful candidates to shortlist and recommend jobs for them to the state government.
