- Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of RET.
- Those who have qualified in NET/SET/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship or already obtained M. Phil / M.Tech / M. Pharm. degree would be exempted from the examination, however they have to appear for an interview.

- Duly filled in application forms must be submitted to the Head, Department of Botany, C. U. after paying Rs.100/- in cash or DD to the cash section of the University.
